Educational ZIP reports
TapCheck CA provides informational ZIP-level water quality summaries derived from public California State Water Board SDWIS monitoring extracts and approximate ZIP→utility matching (preferring official service-area boundaries where available). It is not a substitute for your utility’s Consumer Confidence Report (CCR), certified lab testing of your faucet, or professional advice.
Matching accuracy
ZIP centroids can fall near overlapping service areas. When multiple utilities may apply, confirm the name on your water bill. Medium/low confidence and HQ/city fallback matches are approximate.
